Will proton beams destroy the earth?

Have you been following the news on this big-bang device they started testing yesterday called the Large Hadron Collider (L.H.C.)?
In short, when they get this bad boy going, it will shoot proton beams in opposite directions down a 17-mile circular tunnel, and smash them together creating what they call a miniature “big bang”.  Some scientist believe that when this is accomplished, an irreversible implosion that will begin a black hole will commence.
Of course yesterday’s test only involved a proton beam being shot in one direction.  The next test will be a beam shot in the other.  Then the smashing begins…
I found the most in-depth answer available on whether the LHC has destroyed the earth yet at this website: hasthelargehadroncolliderdestroyedtheworldyet.com/
I know they are only trying to figure out how things happened at the beginning of time… couldn’t they have just taken God’s Word for it?

  1. dean says:

i’m still here… haven’t felt anything yet. i think when the world does end, it’ll be by God’s hand though, don’t you?

maybe it’s just the collider that’s going to fall into the resulting black hole… won’t all those people that spent all that money be kind of annoyed then?
